Welcome to
First Christian Church!
I am excited to welcome you to our church. With over 100 years of history and tradition, we are a church that values our heritage while embracing our call to be a faithful people to the vision that has been set before us.
I once asked a leader of this church what we are known for, and their response was "Giving." We are a church that has chosen to stay in our downtown location to be a blessing for the community. We give our space to "LINK," a ministry which helps feed the homeless of the community. We also give our energy and resources to "Family Promise," a ministry that helps families move out of homelessness and into homes. First Christian also gives our congregation the tools to live joyous and meaningful lives through our worship, preaching, small groups, and ministries to children and teens.
I think you will find a faithful people who are living out their call in this world to love God with all that they are and to love one another. You will be welcomed from the time you enter the front doors until you find a place to sit in the sanctuary. And before you come, please explore our site to get a flavor of who we are!
