Ripples: Peacemakers

Peacemakers will be called children of God.  It is interesting that of all the attributes that we bring with us, it is our peacemaking that identifies us as children of God. 

 

On Sunday, I shared the paternal nature of the 1st century in that whatever one's father did, the child also did.  So, if you were a carpenter, then your son's would also walk in the same direction.  As this idea is played out, then it is logical to think that our "Father" is about making peace in our world.

 

So, here's the question...What do peacemakers look like?  How are they identified?  And what does God's peace look like?
